🎯 What's your mission?

The GC Analyst is responsible for the analysis of fragrances in a wide range of consumer products. The role supports fragrance development by contributing analytical insights to formula understanding, performing project-based analyses, and working closely with perfumery and technical teams.

🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Perform fragrance analysis using GC-MS and GC-FID, including fragrance extraction, sample preparation, and dosage determination across Fine Fragrance, Customer Oils, Personal Care, Air Care, and Household products.

• Support fragrance formula understanding and comparison activities by interpreting analytical data, contributing to formula reconstruction efforts, and assisting with customer sample analysis processes.

• Execute routine analytical testing on GC‑MS and GC‑FID systems in accordance with established methods, protocols, and safety guidelines.

• Perform basic chromatographic instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance, following internal standards and procedures.

• Contribute to analytical projects, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Perfumers, Compounding Laboratory, Applications, Quality Control (QC), R&D, and Evaluation teams.

• Maintain and continuously develop a high level of fragrance raw material knowledge, both analytical and olfactory.

✅ What you need to shine in this role

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or any other related field

• At least 2-3 years of experience in GC-MS/FID analysis, preferably within the fragrance, flavor, cosmetic, or consumer goods industry

• Knowledge in variety of extraction techniques and chromatographic analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills, especially when interacting with perfumers and technical teams

• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and expand technical expertise
