🎯 What's your mission?

As an Accounting & Reporting Specialist, you will join our team and be responsible for managing local accounting processes in compliance with local GAAP in our Istanbul office.

The role involves overseeing accounting records and ensuring all postings align with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities include maintaining statutory books, verifying financial data accuracy, managing tax declarations, monthly closing procedures and audit coordination.

🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

Accounting:

• Participating in the daily/weekly/monthly operational accounting processes

• Ensuring that all general ledger transactions are posted completely, accurately, and timely.

• Responsible for correctly applying Local & Group Accounting Rules on accounting and financial reporting

• Support for all accounting tasks, period reporting and closing activities

• Responsible for AP-AR reconciliation processes

• Responsible for intercompany reconciliation with the group companies

• Preparing and providing reports to the tax and other authorities and keeping the necessary mailing and filing

• Assist with internal & external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.

• Ad-hoc tasks related to bookkeeping and accounting areas

• Being a speaking partner for various stakeholders

• Maintain strong relation with relevant operational departments

Reporting:

• Participating local statutory reporting processes

• Group reporting according to standards and deadlines

✅ What you need to shine in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or equivalent business background

• At least 5 years’ experience in accounting in an international company

• Good knowledge of Turkish GAAP, Tax and Accounting requirements

• Good knowledge of e-invoice processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP is mandatory

• Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish languages
